Wearing a mask is mandatory in Spain...
Spain makes the mask mandatory until the end of the coronavirus pandemic, while the state of emergency ends on June 21st.
The decision is made to keep the individual protective measures in force until the end of the pandemic, or in other words, until an anti-Covid vaccine, or an effective cure, is issued.
The statement was made on Tuesday by Health Minister Salvador Illa.
In addition to masks, Spanish citizens must respect the distance of 1.5 meters indoors in the coming months.
Whoever does not wear a mask or does not respect the distance will be fined 100 euros.
