The details of the creation of a colony on Mars are revealed..

The study, led by Professor Jean-Marc Salotti at the Bordeaux Institute National Institutes Polytechnique in France, found that the minimum number of people needed to create a civilization on Mars before supplies ran out would be 110 people. The colony would have to live in an oxygen-filled dome and start an agricultural industry so that life could continue on the red planet. Professor Jean-Marc Salotti made this prediction after using a mathematical model to determine 'the possibility of survival on another planet'. He believes this is one of the most important events for future generations.
