Minister for Europe Xhacka congratulates US State Secretary, Blinker

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, welcomed the confirmation of Antony Blinken as the 71st Secretary of State of the USA. According to Minister Xhaçka, the cooperation with Secretary Blinken will lead to the advancement of relations between Albania and the United States, as well as consolidate their strategic partnership. Minister Xhaçka stressed that Albania remains grateful to the US for its support in all democratization and integration processes of the country. Antony Blinken was voted on Tuesday by the United States Senate as the new Secretary of State, following the victory of President Joe Biden.
