Liverpool are looking for Shkodran Mustafi, the team in crisis for defenders

Liverpool this season is experiencing a crisis in the defense department. Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are injured leaving Jurgen Klopp's squad without a center-back at the moment and looking for reinforcements for the position. The English champions' coach himself has confirmed that his team will seek to bring a quarterback to Anfield. The problem for Liverpool is that this month’s transfer market is in its final days and the options available in this regard are few. At this point, Liverpool, being limited in its choices, is considering bringing Shkodran Mustafin to Anfield. The news is published by The Telegraph and Sunday World according to which, the club does not rule out the purchase of the defender. Shkodran Mustafi, who has played 20 matches with the German representative, is not finding space at Mikel Arteta's Arsenal and this season he has played only 45 minutes in the Premier League with the London Gunners. This situation could be an opportunity for Liverpool to get him at a low price as the defenders' contract expires in June this year. While the ‘Daily Mail’ states that Arsenal is hoping that Mustafi will sign the contract and this means that the footballer leaves London with zero parameters during the summer months. From the moment he arrived at Arsenal, Mustafi did not make much of an impression, but Klopp may be able to get the best out of him. With Liverpool's defensive problems, taking Mustafa must result in a good move by The Reds.
