Zekate House located in Gjirokaster, built-in 1812, is said to be "one of the grandest examples of Gjirokastër architecture in the Ottoman style. It has two towers and a large double-arch facade. The panorama of the city can be viewed from the house. Skenduli House is the most authentic building in Gjirokastra, more than 300 years old (built in 1823). Its structure shows that this has been the richest houses in Gjirokastra, because it had 9 fireplaces, (many fireplaces richer the family was); 6 bathrooms, 12 rooms, 44 doors, 64 windows, and 4 hamam (turkish bath). Mirahori Mosque is a historic mosque in Korçë, Albania, built in 1494 and finished in 1496. It’s actually the oldest building in Korca and deploys a rare and unusual construction method using lead cubes. It has some of the most interesting original paintings on the walls. Lead Mosque , Shkoder. It took the name Lead Mosque, because all of its cupolas were covered with lead. It was built in 1773 by the Albanian pasha Mehmed Bushati of the noble Bushati family. Through this act, he intended to give his city of birth, the feeling of the capital. Ismail Kadare's House , It belongs to the family of Ismail Kadare who was born here in 1936. Ismail Kadare is the most well known Albanian writer internationally. The house will be familiar to everyone who has read his book ‘Chronicle in Stone”, in which Kadare describes every corner of this house. During the visit you will imagine Kadare as a little boy, sitting close to the windows and witnessing the terrors of World War II. The house was first built in 1799, and classified as a Cultural Monument in 1991. Bachelors' Mosque , is a cultural and religious monument, located in the south of Berat’s Mangalem neighborhood. The mosque was built in the early XIX century to to serve the wards of the bachelors of the city’s various guilds, and became a Cultural Monument in 1961. The paintings inside are dated 1827-1828, and are notable for their remarkable high level of composition: the mural painting is applied inside the prayer hall on two horizontal rows.
