During Coronavirus here is what the United States of America is being threatened by...
Three storms threaten the United States and the Caribbean this weekend. These include Tropical Storm Hanna in the Gulf of Mexico, Hurricane Douglas in the Pacific Ocean, and Tropical Storm Gonzalo in the Atlantic.
Tropical Storm Hanna is gaining strength and is expected to hit the earth like a hurricane in Texas in the early hours of Sunday. Forecasters however say it will be a Category 1 hurricane with winds that will reach speeds of 120km per hour when it hits land in southern Texas. If Hanna gets stronger and turns into a hurricane, this will be the first hurricane of the season in the Atlantic.
As Hurricane Douglas is approaching Hawa, but is projected to weaken before it reaches the island chain over the weekend. It peaked as a Category 4 storm earlier in the day and is now a Category 3 storm with winds reaching speeds of up to 180 km per hour. The weakening is expected to continue for the next 36 hours as it approaches Hawaii. The third hurricane, Gonzalo, is expected to approach the Windward Islands with strong winds and torrential rain.
Tropical Storm Gonzalo, however, will not be able to turn into a hurricane according to experts. In the first days of next week, it will weaken even further as it heads south to the Caribbean in what is expected to be a no less intense hurricane season.
