Coronavirus The EU opens borders and facilitates measures...

Many EU countries have opened their borders and eased restrictions on Corona. But the lack of common rules still poses a challenge for tourists. The German government is expected to cancel by June 15 the warning to travel to 31 European countries. In addition to 26 EU member states, this includes the United Kingdom as well as Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. This means that after June 15, the recommendation to stay in quarantine for 14 days will no longer be in force. Many other European countries closed their borders. Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio told RAI a few days ago: "We are all committed to achieving that the borders of Europe can be reopened on June 15." For tourism, this date can be turned into a kind of "European tourist landing day". But unfortunately, even a few weeks before the summer holidays, it does not seem that free circulation in Europe will return to its former normalcy, because health measures in different countries are quite far from each other. For example, the obligation to wear a mask and respect the minimum distance between people does not apply everywhere. Also, the criteria for a possible tightening of measures in case the number of infected people increases are not the same.
