Britain is modeling a weekly home test. It is hoped that the saliva test will be more effective and simpler to use than the tests that are being used now. These tests are thought to be only 70% accurate. If the process is completed successfully, officials believe that test reliability can be increased. Up to 14,000 people will take part in the experiments for the new tests.
