Britain Again austerity measures Anyone coming from abroad must stay in a hotel for 10 days.
New variants of the coronavirus have raised alarms in the UK, where infected numbers have risen sharply.
The British government is expected to take the decision to quarantine in hotels any person coming from abroad. Prime Minister Boris Johnson makes the decision after discussing proposals from ministers.
All those coming from South Africa, South America and Portugal because most flights from Brazil pass through Lisbon, must be isolated for 10 days in hotels, reports the BBC.
While the costs of accommodation in hotels will have to be paid by the people themselves. The move comes as the UK recorded another 592 deaths within 28 days, bringing the total number of lives lost to 98,531
