Belgrade a hotspot for zoophiles

In Serbia more and more people are opting to exploit animals in order to make an earning. Dog fights of pit bulls and other similar breeds are illegally held in secrete circles, and the sums of money are to ups to tens of thousands of euros. The animals abused from birth, are "trained" even for sex. The capital Belgrade is said to be a hotspot for 'zoophiles' who enjoy sex with animals such as goats, sheep, donkeys, dogs, cats, pigs, geese and cows. Online adverts offer animal sex from between 70 and 150 Euros. Visitors paying an extra 50 Euros to film themselves. Animal rights group 'Leviathan' claims the Belgrade is become a hotspot for zoophiles. This group that protect the animal right claims most sick tourists come via organised 'bus tours'. Pavle Bihal, who runs Leviathan, wants the clubs closed down. He said: "We have information about a club, which is actually an apartment, where all this happens. However, it is difficult to trace people who organize that sick activity. Farmers who run the 'brothels' don't see anything wrong, according to Leviathan. An investigation into the horrifying trend was broadcast by an european TV channel, RTL recently. The highest number of animal sex tourists come from Germany, Holland, Sweden and Great Britain, Bihal's group claims. According the Serbian daily ”Shooting is performed on a farm near the Hungarian border. Producers are a married couple from the Netherlands, who gave him the money to film the project”. This sick activity has caused many negative reactions, especially of the numerous associations for the protection of animals. Tanja Ostojic says she was shocked and appalled. ”It is scandalous, obscene. For me, this act is equated with pedophilia. We call on the police and prosecutors to react and find the perpetrator”, stated Ostojic” These sick people get what they are want thanks to a country in which the Law does not prohibit these disgusting and degrading acts towards animals. There is a petition for Animal rights addressed to the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to ban these aberrant acts, to amend the Laws if he wants to be part of the EU. The petition “End zoophilic tourism in Serbia” created on Oct 24, 2017 and until now 6,652 people signed.
