Albanians dress better than the Europeans

Who said that Albanians are poor? Actually they Are Poor, but Have Higher Expenses than EU Citizens and when it comes to dressing, they exceed the Europeans. Albania continues to be considered a poor country in Europe, where incomes are at 30% of the European Union average. But this fact does not stop Albanian citizens from spending more on clothes, or other expensive equipment than the other citizens in the EU. According to the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) and Eurostat, Albanian consumers spend 4.9% of their total income on clothes, shoes etc, same as EU citizens. Most of their salaries, around 49% go for food, while the EU citizens spend only 12.3% of their incomes for food. Meanwhile, Albanians spend around 50% of their budget to eat, at a time when a European only spends 12.3% of the monthly incomes to feed. Among others, Eurostat says that Italians spend 6.3% of their total budget on clothes, followed by the Portuguese, Austrians, but also Baltic countries. At the end of the list are the Czechs and Hungarians.
